The van was not the only car featured in the show. "Face" was often seen with a flashy white 1984 Chevy Corvette.

General Information:
The A-Team Corvette was manufactured in July of 1983 and was shipped to California in August 1983 and the red stripe was added by a custom paint shop in California, not a decal as some web sites claim. It has red overspray under the hood. The A-Team Corvette first appeared in the USA on TV November 1st. They normally filmed the series from 6-8 weeks ahead of time. When the A-Team Corvette first appeared on TV in Taxi Cab Wars, they did not have the licence plates for it yet, since they needed to film this series, they took the plates off the A-Team Van that was S967238 and put them on the Corvette this one and only time, if you noticed the van did not appear in Taxi Cab Wars. In the very next series and all the series after the A-Team Corvette will have plate 1HJG851 not IHJG851 as some web sites claim. The A-Team has less than 20,000 original miles as of today. It had about 16,000 when the series was cancelled in the end of 1986. It had sat on the lot of Universal Studios for almost a year, Cannell Productions were not sure if they were going to re-paint it and use it in a different show or sell it. A city official from Wisconsin had connections with someone at Cannell Productions and purchased the A-Team Corvette and drove it back to Wisconsin, (where Bob lives). Bob saw it in the newspaper for sale and thought it was a fake or a good copy, and did not call. The next day Bob was in Madison and was talking to a dealer who deals in collector cars and told him he was looking for a white 1985 or newer corvette. He told Bob that he saw the A-Team Corvette the day before and the person that had it drove it over to show him. Bob thought it was still a copy, he said no, its the original. Bob had to make a fast decision and he said, " I just bought it" where can I meet you. The rest is history, it was like winning the lottery. Bob has taken it to many car shows and had it featured in two Corvette magazines and on a Corvette calendar. About 5 years ago, Bob heard about a book signing in Milwaukee Wisconsin and Stephen J. Cannell was to appear. Bob thought "what can I take to him to sign?". He decided to take the gasoline cover off the Corvette and have him sign it (see image below).

Corvette Facts:
BA Baracus was the only member of the A-Team not to drive the Corvette
